Paddle Canada – Lake Canoe Intermediate/Advanced Tandem:
So, you know how to make a canoe go in a straight line. That is a great start but let’s take it to the next level. In this course, you will start to learn the more advanced techniques that let you move with confidence into less than ideal paddling conditions. You will also learn to make the canoe do things you probably never thought you could. A canoe is way more fun than simply going in a straight line. A great ‘next step’ in canoe paddling skills.
Students will be awarded with certification at the level they achieve, Intermediate or Advanced.
Paddle Canada – Lake Canoe Introductory /AdvancedSolo:
Think paddling alone means owning a kayak? You would be wrong! Paddling a canoe solo can be a beautiful and uniquely serene experience but probably not the first time you get in. It takes skills to make a canoe do exactly what you would like all by yourself. This course will immerse students in Paddle Canada’s Lake Canoe Solo program. You will learn the strokes necessary to make the canoe go where you want it to go, how to deal with wind and waves, lots of safety stuff, and of course, to know your limits. If you have always wanted to take the challenge of mastering the classic open canoe all by yourself, this is the course for you.
Students will be awarded with certification at the level they achieve, Introductory, Intermediate or Advanced.
