Day Trips
Day Trips are an opportunity to explore various rivers and lakes around Manitoba with other paddlers and showcase the great paddling the province offers.
These outings can be for members only, while other times they may by open to non-members too. Some Day Trips may be suitable for beginners, while others may be open only to those with more experience.
Participants must provide their own canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard, wear an appropriate PFD or lifejacket at all times on the water, and bring the mandated safety equipment - a whistle, bailer, and throw bag (buoyant heaving line).
There may be a cost to Day Trips and participants must sign a Paddle Manitoba or Paddle Canada waiver.
Registration is requried as often there are limits on the number of paddlers that can attend.
Past Day Trips have included locations such as the Whitemouth, Brokenhead, Rat and Birch Rivers.
